All-American City Jazz Festival

The inauguration of the All-American City Jazz Festival is the signature event for the Sandhills Jazz Society.

  • Introduction: This Festival will unite our community to a musical genre that has used the American experience as its voice – Jazz! By showcasing international recording artist and local Jazz artists, as well as a Youth Showcase and Workshops, the event will provide a unique experience for everyone.

 The inauguration of the All-American City Jazz Festival is the signature event for the Sandhills Jazz Society. It will be held Saturday, October 26 - Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville, NC.  The event will be in partnership with the Fayetteville-Cumberland Youth Council and The Cultural Arts Program for Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation and will serve as a way to bring more music culture and excitement to Fayetteville, NC and the surrounding Sandhills Region.  This annual Jazz Festival will support the performing arts in education by including a showcase of local high school jazz talent.

This Festival will unite our community to a musical genre that has used the American experience as its voice – Jazz!  By showcasing international recording artist and local Jazz artists, as well as a Youth Showcase and Workshops, the event will provide a unique experience for everyone to meet and connect around this culturally important musical art form.
