The City of Fayetteville’s Economic & Community Development Department is seeking residential contractors to bid on residential rehabilitation projects through the department. Here is a summary of the process:
Work Write-ups / Scope of Work documents are provided by E & CD to the COF’s Purchasing Department. Purchasing will post the “Bid Opportunities” on the City’s website under “Bid Opportunities”.
Contractors/Vendors will have +-10 days to submit Sealed bids to the Purchasing Department (bid due dates will be indicated in the RFQ’s – Request for Quotes posted by Purchasing). The Bids will be opened and reviewed. The Lowest Responsible Bidder will be awarded the Contract to Perform Rehabilitation Work on the Project.
Economic & Community Development currently administers Three Housing Repair and/or Rehabilitation Programs. They are as follows:
- Emergency Housing Repair Program $5,000.00 Maximum Per Project
- Target Area Revitalization Repair Program $10,000.00 Maximum Per Project
- Housing Rehabilitation Repair Program $29,999.00 Maximum Per Project
Contractors/Vendors must have and provide the COF with Proof of General Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 or more before being awarded a contract. Please refer to attachments.
