"In The Works"

  • Future Land Use Map and Plan - Currently, the City is working with Stewart Consulting in collaboration with Crawford Design Company to update the City Future Land Use Map and create associated text to include strategic goals and recommendations.  This will be the first piece of the puzzle of creating a new Comprehensive Plan for the City. We need your input!  There are several ways to share feedback.
  • City Development Services staff are in the process of studying and analyzing the Highway 295 corridor and interchange areas that are completed and under construction.  The Planning Staff knows that these interchanges will result in new growth.  It is important to study the areas to inform and guide City Council in the way to best address impending issues.
  • The Central Campbellton Neighborhood Plan will provide a comprehensive, implementation-oriented strategy for creating sound, economically sustainable quality of life enhancements along a three-quarter mile stretch of the I-95 Business corridor at the entrance to the City of Fayetteville, NC and the adjacent commercial and residential area leading to its downtown.
